Holy crap, I was afraid that was the answer. Not very useful, specially when the app refuses to work with a big trash folder as I have… and deleting it one by one is not an option :-/

Haven't tested this but I use both apps and my first thought is to first change the sync settings for that folder, as the folders can be adjusted individually, and find the other setting that allows the server to have priority sync over Android. Maybe it's not the in-app fix you want but deleting the trash from your computer or other client then syncing would empty that folder! Change the amount of days to sync to minimum after that maybe?
